Everyone who works at or with RAVE is inspired by kindness, respect, passion and humility.

How it all started

RAVE Collective began with a legacy of kindness. It grew out of a love for the creative and never backing down from a challenge.  The idea that “Yes lives in a world of no” is still the driving force that motivates us to this day. We never let the fear of failure or rejection get in the way of fresh ideas, groundbreaking concepts and big-picture thinking.

After 16 years of collaborating with our print partners at The Refinery, RAVE collective is now able to give focus to and clarity on what we do best: unforgettable, AV-centric entertainment marketing.

Stewart’s fascination with magic and the intersection of art and technology drew him to Los Angeles to pursue filmmaking. It took five years after arriving in 2004 to realize he’d fallen in love with the city. By then, he was directing his first feature film in Romania, had been kidnapped in Brazil, and secured several development deals. In parallel, he honed his skills in entertainment marketing, working on trailers, design, and motion graphics. Today, as a creative director, he’s honored to collaborate with talented teams, working on countless projects across theatrical and streaming platforms. His career has taken him around the world to supervise marketing shoots. Horror films keep him up at night, and coffee, trailers, and title sequences get him up in the morning. On weekends, you’ll find him hiking with his dog, Lucy, while listening to an audiobook.

Giving back to our local communities

The recent wildfires have caused immense devastation across our great city, and our hearts go out to everyone affected. Though the magnitude of loss is overwhelming, we’ve been incredibly inspired by the creativity, compassion, and resilience that our community has shown in response to this tragedy.

In kind, we at RAVE Collective believe that when times are tough, it’s our collective strength and unity that make the greatest impact. However, we know how overwhelming it can be to find where to start. If you’re looking for ways to contribute, whether it’s through monetary support, donating goods, or volunteering, here is a link to a document with some helpful resources. In it, you’ll find:

  • Links to support relief efforts
  • Links to support first responders
  • Links for donation and volunteer opportunities
  • Links to mental health resources
Central Resource Hub

If you have organizations and relief efforts that are near and dear to your heart, please share. This list is meant to expand and evolve and we appreciate your input.

While it may feel like a daunting task to rebuild and recover, we know that our community has a unique power to inspire and mobilize change. Every contribution – no matter how big or small – will make a difference.

Thank you for your continued generosity and commitment to lifting up those who need it most. Together, we will rebuild.

VFX JOYBIRD BRAND DIALEDIN

We have the power to create worlds, and design these worlds differently thanks to Joybird. We ran a full VFX and color pipeline for this Joybird spot, compositing the city backdrops, cleaning up the shots, replacing phone screens, and adjusting product color combinations to match the product in real life. As we told our friends at Cultivate.Media: sure, we’ll fix it in post. We’ll create it, modify it, and perfect it, too.

Porsche or Pors-cha, that is the question. In director Mitchell Akselrad’s passion project, two distinct perspectives battle for bragging rights after seeing the new Porsche Taycan model. Their differing views of the Porsche became the cornerstone of the editing process: feminine vs masculine energy, fast vs fluid, and rock vs salsa. The Refinery was more happy to help settle the question, editing this piece and taking it through color and finishing.

2023 Nanolumens Holiday Campaign

TPN

EDITORIAL | DESIGN | MOTION GRAPHICS

The Challenge

With over 6,400 retail locations nationwide, AT&T sought to elevate its in-store digital screens, transforming them from passive displays into dynamic brand touchpoints. The goal: to create an immersive, engaging visual experience that enhances storytelling, deepens customer connection, and reinforces AT&T’s position as an industry leader.

Our Approach

RAVE reimagined AT&T’s retail screens as a cinematic canvas, bringing brand narratives to life through:

  • Custom Motion Design – Bespoke visuals tailored for every screen format, ensuring a seamless and captivating in-store experience.
  • Multi-Screen Storytelling – Synchronized content across flagship locations like Times Square, creating an immersive, high-impact brand moment.
  • Quarterly Content Refreshes – A strategic cadence of updates to keep messaging dynamic, relevant, and aligned with AT&T’s evolving campaigns.

The Impact

The result? A groundbreaking in-store content ecosystem that engages millions of visitors each quarter, increases dwell time in flagship locations, and sets a new benchmark for digital retail storytelling. AT&T’s screens are no longer just displays—they are an evolving, cinematic expression of the brand.

BEST DEALS

Creative design exploration and production for the Nanolumens 2023 Holiday campaign, including 3D environments and assets, and multiple sizes for many store and OOH placements. Connection is at the heart of everything we do. Especially around the holidays. When TPN and AT&T came to us for 3D design exploration and production for the Nanolumens 2023 Holiday campaign, we knew we could use our expertise to help fulfill their mission of bringing everyone together. Starting with pilot screens in just a few retail stores before they roll out nationwide, we built a series of custom motion graphic pieces that surprised customers by the depth they created in the stores and delighted them with a smidge of holiday cheer.
